Career Track:

What is Career Track? Career Track is a program designed to help individuals 19-21 years old (Madison County also serves 16 - 18 year olds) that wish to improve their quality of life. Gain Career Readiness skills through workshops such as:

  • Microsoft Office Essentials
  • Work Search
  • Dressing for Success
  • Budgeting
  • Resume Writing
  • Job Applications
  • Preparing for Interviews
  • Career Readiness Packet (I-9, Tax forms)

Gain work experience while getting paid through CareerTrack. Work Experience will conform to the following guidelines:

  • 5 week maximum
  • 40 hours per week
  • Pay rate is minimum wage

Career Track has three areas of focus:

  • Gaining employment
  • Increasing basic skills
  • Entering post-secondary education
