Intensive Re-Employment Services Seminars Begin at the Central Kentucky Career Center in Clark County

The Re-Employment Services Seminars are intesive two days workshops to assist students and current jobseekers in planning a career that will allow them to seek training in areas that will highlight their natural talents, while ensuring a wage that will allow for self-sufficient.  Different tools will be provided to select a vocation and research the educational requirements along with the skills and abilities needed to become successful in a chosen career. Employers from around the area will present to the class and provide for a question and answer session, where the class will learn more about the hiring techniques of a business. Educational Institutions from across the area will also be presenting and educate potential students on programs offered and career directions. Research will be done including identifying the prevailing wages of various professions.  Different templates appropriate to the profession and individual will be utilized for preparing a resume and as well as knowledge sharing on the inverview process. Finally, there will be a discussion on soft skill issues such as emotional intelligence, attendance, appropriate dress and motivation.
