The GE Lexington Lamp Plant is currently hiring for two (2) positions Maintenance Mechanics and Machine Adjusters. The Lexington Lamp Plant is a manufacturing plant for adhesive and flame sealed automotive and specialty lamps.

Position 1: Maintenance Mechanic performs routine maintenance and repairs on automatic lamp making equipment, and has experience using all types of machine shop fabrication equipment. (All positions are currently filled, please check back.)

• 2 yrs. technical degree or at least 5 yrs manufacturing experience
• Applicants must have the ability to diagnose mechanical troubles effecting quality, production, shrinkage, and make necessary repairs to correct; to disassemble machines and install replacement parts from stock, to re-assemble & make necessary adjustments to insure efficient operation.

Pay Rate: Starting at $13.92-$17.75 plus per hour with a highly competitive benefit package.

Position 2: Machine Adjusters make routine mechanical adjustments and perform maintenance on automatic lamp making equipment.Click here to apply.

Position 4: Operations Specialist (Team Leader) The GE Lexington Lamp Plant is currently hiring Operations Specialist (Team Leader).(Accepting Applications until June 1th, 2012 - see below - )

The Lexington Lamp Plant is a manufacturing plant for adhesive and flame sealed automotive and specialty lamps.
Operations Specialist will direct bargaining unit hourly employees to meet goals for safety, production, service, schedule attainment, quality and maintenance.

• College degree preferred
• Previous management/leadership experience required.

Pay: $45,000 - $55,000 per year with a highly competitive benefit package.
