​Job Summary:

• The Digital Marketing Associate supports the day-to-day execution of digital communications and marketing efforts across the organization. This role is responsible for updating websites, managing routine social media activity, preparing email newsletters, reporting, and assisting with digital content creation and distribution. Working closely with the Communications team, the Digital Marketing Associate ensures that content is published accurately, platforms are maintained, and campaigns are implemented on time. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Administration

  • Maintain and update organizational websites to ensure accurate content and functionality.

  • Perform regular system and plugin updates, coordinate with internal staff and external vendors for enhancements or troubleshooting.

• Digital Content Management

  • Support the creation, editing, and publishing of multimedia content, including blog posts, videos, and feature stories, across web platforms and communication channels.

• Social Media Management

• Develop and implement social media plans.

  • Create and schedule posts, respond to internal content requests, and support the launch and maintenance of new social media accounts as needed.

• Email Communication

  • Assist with the design and distribution of email campaigns and newsletters using platforms like MailChimp to support organization-wide initiatives and events.

• Marketing Campaign Support

  • Collaborate across departments to identify and develop stories, manage project timelines, and track campaign progress.

  • Assist with event marketing tasks and represent communications at Member caucuses, annual meeting, and spring retreat. Occasional travel in the Central KY Region.

  • Coordinate with communications and design teams to ensure consistency in messaging.

• Branding and Print Materials

  • Process requests for branded materials such as business cards and name tags, ensuring accuracy, design consistency, and timely delivery.

• Internal Communication & Coordination

  • Maintain organized tracking systems (e.g., spreadsheets, project boards) and perform regular reporting to support workflow transparency and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, e.g., Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Administration, Liberal Arts, etc.

• Experience: 1-3 years demonstrated work experience in a digital marketing capacity, showcasing a blend of analytical, technical, and communication skills

• Certifications: N/A

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, WordPress, Elementor, Google Analytics, and marketing platforms.

• Strong writing, editing, and presentation abilities.

• Effective communicator across diverse audiences.

• Experienced with digital and social media content.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Skilled in data evaluation and decision-making.

• Highly organized; able to manage multiple priorities.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
