What Is Rapid Response?

Rapid Response is a workforce service under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). It provides immediate, coordinated assistance to businesses and workers impacted by layoffs or closures.

 

Services are employer-driven, worker-focused, and delivered in partnership with state and local workforce organizations.

When a business faces layoffs, downsizing, or closure, timing matters, Kentucky Career Center - Bluegrass/American Job Center provides Rapid Response services to help employers and affected workers navigate workforce transitions in a structured and supportive way.

 

Our goal is to support businesses, assist impacted employees, and strengthen our local workforce.
